MJ is a legend... Despite his strangeness and subsequent lawsuits, I hope his
family can be respected in this time of grieving and him remembered for his
genius and innovation he brought to the music industry.

At the end of the day, I never knew MJ ,but respected his music and talent.

This is where it stops for me and reality sets in. People die everyday and the
media coverage is already old for me. I hope his family can heel, as any family
heels when a loved one dies.

I've been silent on the issue under the "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" rule when people die. :innocent: It's killing me though. (I've exchanged a dozen pedophile joke e-mails with friends.) Suffice it to say that Burger and I are the same age and have similar musical tastes. And the Young American quote is cool. After 30 years or so, still waiting for someone to tell me what it means, though.

Do tell because I honestly have no idea what the heck that song means even though I love it.

Well, my take.
Boy meets girl and the troubles that follow...having a baby, drugs, "the american dream" shattered, the life of a Young American?!! Having fun for the first 20 years of your life and then time to get seriuos for the following 50!!! Note the reference to The Beatles "a day in the life"

Epic song...what do you think?

Beats the lyrics to "Beat it"

I hear they had trouble burying Michael Jackson. His coffin kept jammin! Oh, that was Bob Marley!

If Karen Carpenter had eaten Momma Cass's sandwich, they'd both be alive today!

Absolutely not! It's a time fore respect. For instance, out of respect, McDonalds have released the Mc Jackson burger, 50 year old meat between 10 year old buns.

Spot on Burger

We live for just these twenty years
Do we have to die for the fifty more?

I am listening to Let it Bleed and Let it Be today at work!
