Alright all!  Through unforeseen circumstances that at some level we were unable to control, We are excited to announce that we are now able to sell any remaining tickets to any of the matches to all Chelsea in America members and the general public. We are allowed, through the promoter and CFC, to sell tickets until Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 9pm CDT, OR UNTIL WE SELL OUT.

WE HAVE HAD TO SEND OUR FINAL NUMBERS INTO THE PROMOTER TONIGHT, SO TICKETING FOR THIS TOUR IS DONE. We have no additional tickets at this time, though if you are looking for tickets, we are more than happy to try and accommodate you on our waiting list, should any become available. Just inquire at [email protected]

Thank you and we look forward to seeing all of you on tour.

Things to keep in mind:

Indianapolis

UPDATE:  Booking information is now available for the second hotel in Indy!  See below for details!

We have two hotels in Indy, but we are only booking one at a time.  The first hotel is the Hampton Inn Downtown.  It’s a 3 minute walk to the pub.  We received a killer rate ($119), despite most of the hotels being full for a convention.  This block will fill up in about 5 days because the rate is so low for that time frame and the block is really small.   Here is the link:

Hampton Inn Indy Downtown
105 S. Meridian St.
Indianapolis, IN 46225

The second hotel for Indy will be the Omni Severin Hotel.  A beautiful Landmark hotel, it is a 1 minute walk to the pub.  Our rates there are $139 per night, but this hotel will not be available until the Hampton Inn fills up.  If the type of room you need fills up at the Hampton Inn, however, or you would rather stay at the Omni anyway, contact [email protected] and we will hold a room for you.  NOTE: This hotel is now available!  See link below to book rooms there!

Our pub is an 8 minute walk to the Stadium and has owners and management with Chelsea FC connections.  It should be a fun place!

New York

We have two hotel choices in NY.

The first hotel is the Carlton. It’s a 10 minute walk to the pub.  We stayed here before and everyone loved it.  It’s a 5 star hotel but our rates are less than most 2-4 star hotels in the area.  Here is the breakdown of rates and booking codes:

Standard Room, 1 Full Bed                       $209       AMEAMEA

Superior Room, 1 Queen Bed                   $229       AMEAMEB

Executive Double room, 2 Beds                $269       AMAMED

Carlton Hotel NY
88 Madison Ave.
New York, NY 10016

LAST DAY TO BOOK IS JULY 12th!!!

If you go to the Carlton website to make a reservation, after you select the dates you plan to stay, there will be a Link that says “promo code.” If you click this link, it will allow you to enter one of the group codes found above in the “Group Code” box. Making a reservation over the phone with the reservations department seems to work best for some, you just need to tell the Reservationist that you are with Chelsea in America. The reservations hotline is 800.601.8500.

The second hotel is the Hilton Newark which is located across the street from Newark Penn Station.  From there you can take a 20 minute train to NY Penn Station, which is a 10 minute walk to the Pub.  You can also take another direct 20 minute train to the Stadium in the Meadowlands from either Newark or NY Penn Stations.

Rates are $119 for Kings or Double bedded rooms.

You may call into the reservation center at 800.445.8667 and tell them you are with the group “Chelsea in America,” or you can book online using the group code “CFC.”

 Miami

We are staying at the Hollywood Beach Marriott.  Normal rates are $169 per night, but we have negotiated a rate of $109 for our guests for a partial ocean view room with balcony.

Here is the booking link for more information on the hotel

Marriott Hollywood Beach
2501 North Ocean Drive
Hollywood, FL 33019

You may also call 888.788.2711 and ask for the Chelsea in America August 2013 group. Sunlife stadium is 15 minutes away, and because the Hollywood area is quiet and not overdeveloped, traffic is rarely an issue.  We might have shuttles to the match for everyone.

Take notice:  pub information for Florida has changed!

The pub in Miami will be Mickey Bryne’s Irish Pub.  This is the official pub for the match, and right in the heart of Hollywood, Florida!  Even better, the owner of the pub is a fellow Chelsea, so we had to support him!  Can’t wait to see you all there!

The Beltway Blues are thrilled to host CIA members and guests for the August 10th match against Roma at RFK Stadium.

Hotel Info:

Our hotel is the Key Bridge Marriott (http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/waskb-key-bridge-marriott/) in Arlington, VA. This is located at the Rossyln metro stop on the Orange/Blue line. If you fly into Reagan National Airport you can take the metro to the hotel via the Blue line, or it will be about a $15 cab ride. If you take the train into Union Station, you can take the Red line to Metro Center and switch to the Orange or Blue line to get to Rossyln. There isn’t a metro stop at Dulles airport, but several bus lines run from the airport to Rossyln.  The DC metro has a helpful trip planner feature on their website to help plan your journey (http://wmata.com/).

The hotel is conveniently located for exploring DC and getting to the CIA pub and stadium.

Pub Info:

Our home pub is Ireland’s Four Courts (http://www.irelandsfourcourts.com/) in Arlington, VA. It is across the street from the Court House metro stop on the Orange line.

From the hotel, Four Courts is a 10-15 minute walk, or you can take the metro one stop from Rosslyn to Court House. We will be at Four Courts on the night before the match and all-day on match day. For anyone driving to Four Courts, there is a small parking lot behind the pub and ample street parking (most of which is free at night or on weekends; just make sure to check the details on the parking meter).

Getting to the stadium:

The easiest way to get to RFK Stadium from Four Courts is via the metro (http://wmata.com/). It is a 25 minute ride on the Orange line from Court House to Stadium Armory then a short walk (.25 mile) to the stadium (simply follow signs for the stadium, it’s pretty hard to miss. Metro trains run less often on weekends and there are occasional delays. So we recommend that you leave Four Courts at 6:30pm at the latest to head to the match.

For anyone that will be driving to RFK, note that there is currently a detour to get into the parking lot because of construction around the stadium. Information on directions and parking is available here (http://www.dcunited.com/matchday/directions-parking/directions-to-rfk-stadium). There is also a 5K run happening on match day in one of RFK’s parking lots, so we anticipate this will add delays. Please give yourself plenty of time to get to the stadium!
